12Without a doubt the best 2D shooter on the Mega Drive and a game that pushes the system beyond its limits. Awesome music, stunning gameplay and beautiful graphics make this a game every Mega Drive owner should have. We don't really need to say any more as the internet has already discussed the wonders of Thunder Force IV to death. What is worth talking about however is the fact that issues with the framerate, audio and graphics of the Mega Drive version were later fixed in the Saturn port.
