Gaming Myth Busting Episode 2 - Metal Slug - Reasons to never use a Action Replay on Sega Saturn
SNK near perfect SEGA Saturn port gets a lot of unneeded bad rep on the internet for additional slowdown not present in the arcade release. Bad port of misinformed users, using the incorrect RAM cartridge causing extra slowdown? Randomised Gaming helps clear up the problem and yes the original NEO-GEO CD release that the Saturn version is based on did also have slowdown. This is a short look at the game using both the official SEGA 1MB and 4MB. Note there are many revisions of the action replay cartridge the early version have far worse support than newer models. Contains 1080p video of the first three stages and intro to Metal Slug on the Sega Saturn.
