While experimenting with time travel technology, I accidentally created a disturbance in the space-time continuum right where my Zelda: alttp and Super Metroid cartridges were! Now they have become one game. I've tried super-glue remover, pliers, baby oil, and nothing works. I don't know what to do! Just going to have to play the two of them together...

Ok ok, it's actually the Zelda: alttp and Super Metroid Crossover Randomizer! Whoever thought of this, I love you. You have made my SNES-related dreams finally come true! This video is not a serious playthrough but covers some related tips, tricks, and various spots to loot. A lot of item collection needs to be done before you attempt to tackle any dungeons.

Think about it like this: yes you are playing both games together. This DOES give you a travelling-adventage to reach certain spots quicker, but it also means in either game you are collecting HALF of the powerups for that game instead of progressing at a normal pace. It's fine if you play both games though! You will have to play one game to power up the other and vice versa.

It's good to try random seed numbers to see what type of playthrough you get. You WILL get easy and hard ones. But if you really want to know what type of progression-related items you are going to be lacking, check the end of the spoiler first.

For example, I like the seed I picked to generate the rom for this video. But one negative thing about it is the half-magic is locked in Ganon's Tower. I cannot enter the tower without all 7 maiden crystals. As such, I will not have extra magic when fight harder bosses like Trinexx.

Ultimately, my point is if you get a seed that you like, save the rom and spoiler log for yourself. (If you don't save the log, at least write down the seed number.) One last thing, there are some excellent playthrough videos for this randomizer on YouTube, single and multiplayer. I advise you to check them out also as this is the only video I am going to make for this.


16:20 - WONDER WOMAN! I must have left the TV on when I was recording, but I figured out what was playing in the background. Not any modern wonder woman movie and not the 1975 series with Lynda Carter. It was the 1973 movie Wonder Women, the MST3K version. I wish Mike, Kevin, and Bill would watch one of my videos and totally riff the crap out of it!
