This video is for Doomslayer who requested a video about this for Delta Touch. There are many times when I just load up Delta Touch on my phone, because I feel the need to purge some demons. But I LOVE RPG games that have leveling, skills, more than 100 weapons, and quests.

Now don't expect an RPG on the level of Borderlands. Borderlands is great, but I cannot play it on my phone. (Certainly wish I could!) Doom RPG is what gives this mod skills, augmentations, quests, the UAC base, and Arena levels. Roguelike Arsenal gives this game a roguelike arsenal! In other words, you get more than 100 weapons, but they are randomized every time you play.

Just do yourself a favor and keep restarting until you get a starting weapon you are happy with! In the settings, you can change it so you always start with an assembled weapon. (You MUST select Technician to get the weapon. If the game does not let you select a class, your mods are out of order! Check your mod order with the order shown on this video!) Then later on, you can assemble new weapons or attach modboxes to existing weapons to add different attributes.


I almost forgot to say sorry about the bad video quality during the gameplay segments. It's starting to become apparent to me that I need to use a higher video bitrate if I'm gaming on mobile.

This is my first Doom RPG Roguelike Arsenal Video. At 3:20 in the video, I start explaining what files to delete from the mods. This is mostly for the title image. While that part may be aesthetic, you may still want to delete the hud files from Roguelike Arsenal to avoid the "double hud."

This is the video for the texture packs combination that I use. I want to say all packs are original except the Hoover1979 packs. I combined those, but then I deleted the "cement 1-6" textures for all packs. This is to be able to see the signs on Oblige wads. If you don't ever use urban-style Oblige wads, you may skip that step. But... if you are going to delete those textures but don't feel like navigating the folders, just do a search from the parent folder for "cement". It's a little easier.

This video explains a workaround for the key combinations for Doom RPG for Android. You see, the shop requires you to be able to use the shift+a and shift+d combinations. Without being able to use key combinations, you can't switch pages in the shop or skill menu.
