Sgt. Burly is a bro. As a yokai he just wants you to get fit. That's his purpose. And that's not too far off what he's based off of in real life. His character origin is based on a famous African American fitness guru personality by the name of Billy Blanks. Billy Blanks created a program called the Tae Bo exercise program which incorporates both Tae Kwon Do and Boxing. With his popular fitness videos, he eventually became a japanese pop culture phenomenon where his name is known by almost every man, woman or child in the country.
