The gaming market is always changing and 2016 has been another rough year for the japanese console gaming market. Mobile gaming is growing strong as ever but the real winner in the gaming industry comes from the most hated gaming company on the planet right now : Konami. Konami has gotten a lot of flak for their treatment of Hideo Kojima but it seems like the company itself is doing quite well without Kojima. Its share value has risen over 66% which is far and ahead of every other gaming company in Japan. Sega and Nintendo is not far behind in terms of numbers. At the very bottom of the list we have Square enix and Capcom which both had major releases but failed to convert those to better response in their share value.
