An Interesting and Unique Mix of Stealth and Beat 'em Up | Raw Metal demo
3Hello everyone! This was another demo I played during the Steam Next Festival. This is Raw Metal, a quite unique and interesting mix of top-down stealth with third person beat 'em up. You have to go through floors by using stealth (no idea if you have to clear the floors, but I wasn't going to leave anyone standing, right?) and all the items the games gives you or straightforwardly get into melee combat to get rid of them (but be careful, because you get defeated once you get 3 hits in one fight). There are some nice mechanics for both gamestyles (darts, parry, dashes, and so on), and the game looks great, but even when I really wanted to like this, my main complain where the cameras. During the stealth, they were too close, and it was hard to see the surroundings (for the same reason, it was hard to avoid being detected), while during the fights, the angle was too uncomfortable and it was hard to see when the enemy was attacking. So... I couldn't finish this demo :(.
