Mutate and Clone Yourself In A Bacterial Evolution Roguelite | Lifeforms: Binary Fission demo
5Hello everyone! Another demo here. This is Lifeforms: Binary Fission, a bacterial evolution roguelite where you start a lonely cell, and you have feed, mutate and clone yourself to overcome the other species. Kill them, eat, mutate clone once again and kill again, until you take control of the enviroment. You have different cells to start each run and mutating means different upgrade. The objective to win is not that clear from the start, but you basically have to keep completing the tasks on the top-left part of the screen.
What this game might need is a bit more of active gameplay (something else besides just bumping into enemy cells), maybe some meta-progression system or something else to do to add addiction to the game and a way to avoid almost endless games (in my opinion), but it is a really nice concept.
You can notice that after 15 minutes into the run, the game looks really low in fps, that was a bug, but it is being fixed (or it has been fixed already).
