Ape Escape: Water Net Training & Stage 2: Primordial Ooze (4/6 Monkeys)
There are times when entering a new stage calls for the debut of a new gadget that would be necessary to get through that stage.
Primordial Ooze is one of these stages. It's constantly raining and it has a big lake, so before Spike can get through it, he has to go through some training with the Water Net that he'll use for it. This lets him be able to catch monkey swimming underwater.
Of course, like with most non-instant examples in video games, Spike will drown if he stays underwater too long. In this game, the ONLY way to catch a breath is to surface.
This is kind of discriminate, though, because in some cases, the monkeys can stay underwater for as long as they want, or at the very least much longer than Spike ever can.
The mail scattered throughout this stage explains more of the game's controls. Since I'm a well-seasoned player at this game, I shouldn't even bother with them, but I do it anyway for the sake of showcasing and teaching beginners of this game.
