Mega Man 5 Part 1: Opening & Gyro Man Stage w/ Rush Jet
Despite me going through this game after Mega Man 3, I've actually already finished with a playlist of Mega Man 4 WAY before the first 3 games.

Here's the story:
For some bizarre reason, Protoman, Mega Man's older brother, went berserk and starting attacking several areas alongside his own band of Robot Masters. 8, to be exact.
He has also kidnapped Dr. Light, and left behind his scarf for Mega Man to remember him by. Mega Man now must team up with Dr. Cossack from Mega Man 4 to take out all of these Robot Masters and once again confront his own brother.

Mega Man 4 gave Mega Man a New Mega Buster that he can charge. This game has Cossack upgrade it to the Super Mega Buster, which works exactly the same, except that he can't get hit while he's charging, or he'll lose his charge.
This is the first game where there isn't any new staples to Mega Man's techniques, and he has in fact lost one: The Rush Marine. However, this game does have a unique gimmick where he can find different letters that spell MEGAMANV. If he can get them all in one playthrough, Dr. Cossack will make him something very useful. I find the first "A" in Gyro Man's stage.

Gyro Man's stage appears to be an improved version of Air Man's stage in Mega Man 2. Gyro Man is a Robot Master with a propeller on his back. Because he is themed after helicopters, his weapon is the Gyro Attack.
Beating Gyro Man gives Mega Man the Gyro Attack as well as the Rush Jet.
