Wave Man is a step up from Bubble Man of Mega Man 2. Wave Man is an aquatic Robot Master that can move well in both land and sea.

His stage is pretty unique. One point, Mega Man has to ascend with massive bubbles floating out of a vent, and after that, the rest of the stage up until the fight with Wave Man has Mega Man board a jet ski. It and move around, jump, and shoot bullets just like Mega Man.

You encounter a miniboss during this ride, but it can easily be defeated by shooting at its green forehead. Beyond, make sure that you watch for the "E" in "MEGAMANV" that you have to jump for. When your ride ends, Wave Man is only a bit further ahead.

He's weak to the Charge Kick. You get the Wave Wave from him when you beat him.
