MISSION:
When a revolt in a nearby city (instigated by western spies) illicits a major government response including fighters dropping bombs on their own citizens, a spec ops team takes advantage of the distraction created to hunt down an intelligence asset who became a traitor.
TAKISTAN CAMPAIGN BACKGROUND:
Western governments are left with little choice but to deploy special forces and intelligence agents into Takistan when a civil war between a totalitarian and isolationist central government, and a tribal alliance of Islamist fighters known as the Takistan Insurgents, threatens to create a refugee and terrorist crisis in Europe.
To further complicate the situation, a terrorist attack carried out by the Takistan Insurgents against neighbouring Karzheghistan kills 1,500 people prompting the Karzeghistani government to demand permission to deploy its military to assist the Takistan central government in its fight against the Insurgents.
When the isolationist Takistan central government refuses, Karzheghistan launches an invasion to fight the insurgents themselves and plant a friendlier government in Takistan's capital.
Meanwhile, western agents and operators must meet local tribes to form a nationalist tribal-led confederation to fend off the Karzheghistan invasion, and fight the hardline Islamist Takistan Insurgents group to prevent a further deterioration in the regional security environment.
WHAT IS ANTISTASI?
Antistasi is a guerilla warfare campaign simulator where you, a rebel, start off with no guns or ammo and must rob police stations and army bases to steal military equipment, assasinate key enemy officers with car bombs and street firefights. Eventually band of rebels evolves into a guerilla movement, and then a conventional military as you fight not only your government, but a foreign invading force.
