Booting up Armored Core 6 for the first time gave me kind of a revelation the other day about FromSoftware's output more generally at least since Sekiro. And this is what I realized: difficulty is a big part of their brand as a studio, but it isn't the only part; no less important is their effort to translate a certain form of 'coolness' into gameplay. I think Sekiro is where this really began, and it then it was carried into Elden Ring and finds its way once again into Armored Core 6. And difficulty and coolness together both have a kind of synergy which is responsible for the amazing vibes that permeate the gameplay of their last three games. -- Watch the video for a fuller description of what I'm talking about!
