ARMS- Global Testpunch June 3rd, 2017 (1/3)
0I rise from the dead! And I brought some 60 FPS gameplay with me! Hopefully, anyway. This is still a work in progress and my laptop can’t really handle all that much, so if there are any weird hitches in these videos, I apologize. Anyways, let’s punch people in the face!
ARMS is a game all about punching with super-stretchy arms. Nintendo was kind enough to give Switch players a limited-time demo to try the game out ahead of release, so here we are! Matches tend to go quick, so keep your eyes peeled! (I’ll give you an idea of how you get paired up, but that’ll be cut from all future matches, just FYI).
Match 1: Versus

Twintelle (me) vs. Ribbon Girl (uh….Japanese Player!)
You can’t defeat the thicc waifu, I have the high ground! Ribbon Girl might be able to jump through the air multiple times, but the Thunderbird can smack her down!
Match 2: Versus

Spring Man (me) vs. Min Min (Another Japanese Player!)
Home field advantage, no fair! So yeah, Spring Man is your beginner-friendly character…and Min Min can kick ARMS away…or just fry you with a Dragon Arm’s laser beam. Well, this goes quick, doesn’t it?!
Match 3: Hoops

Ribbon Girl (me) vs. Ninjara (Lord Crump)
Uh….more like Lord Chump, amirite? Ha…ha…. So yeah, Hoops is basketball, but YOU’RE the ball. Throw your opponent to score points…that’s about it! I…did not do so well here. I echo Ribbon Girl’s statement. Whatever!
Match 4: Tag Battle

Ribbon Girl (me) & Ninjara (Lord Crump) vs. Twintelle (Girth) & Twintelle (Mitch)
No! I can’t fight mai waifu! You can’t make me! Especially in this dumb Knuckles Chaotix mode! So yes, as you can see tag battles literally tie you together with your partner. Unfortunately…this means you can get dragged around if you’re not careful. Oh! Do we have a comeback!? (No)
Match 5: Versus
DNA Lab
Master Mummy (me) vs. Twintelle (ASP_REL)
Man, I’m seeing a trend here. Me thinks people like the curvy, glamorous righter with powerful hair. Now, Twintelle can slow down time when charging her punches, while Master Mummy can heal while blocking…neither of us did that here though. I really should block more.
I had to cut this recording session short, but I have two other video’s worth of ARMS footage…and I’ll be getting this game for sure, so don’t worry. ARMS will return!
