One last bit of ARMS footage, coming right up!

Match 1: Team Battle
Ramen Bowl
Twintelle (me) & Twintelle (Rigu) vs. Twintelle (ilifio) & Ninara (ilifio-2)

So much waifu! And so little time-stop! Fun fact, Ninjara and Twintelle were the most-used characters in the last Testpunch…so this is pretty representative of what you’d see the entire time!

Match 2: Versus
Ninja College
Helix (me) vs. Min Min (Nefermaat)

Battle of dragons! Helix is likely my worst character, due in part to his weird movement and ARMS selection here. Holding dash makes him shrink into a puddle that makes him harder to hit…but also means he doesn’t dash, while holding jump elongates his body. His Blorbs are kinda slow moving and bounce (maybe not-so-good on the low ground!) and the Ice Dragon could have helped me more…but Min Min here seemed more in-tune with her dragon!

Match 3: Vs. Hedlok
Ninja College
Ribbon Girl (me), Min Min (Sid) & Min Min (Nefermaat) vs. Hedlok (level 4)

Here’s another attempt at Hedlok that goes FAR better. I really wonder if he’ll have this much health in the single-player… (Worth noting he’s possessing Twintelle here, so this was a girl’s night out all around!)

Match 4: Versus
Spring Stadium
Spring Man (me) vs. Min Min (Nefermaat)

Lots of ramen girls here today! And hey, I get home field advantage! Really fun, if not overly interesting match overall. Nice to get a win as Spring Man at least. Man, that Boomerang REALLY curves, huh?

Match 5: Skill Shot
Punching Gallery
Master Mummy (me) vs. Helix (Alan)

Here’s the only Skill Shot match I got on this day. Essentially “Break the Targets,” you compete with another player trying to break as many targets as you can, earning more points the more targets you get in one punch. Master Mummy is kinda slow here, so maybe not the best choice…and Helix’s Guardian ARM is pretty slow…but it also means it’s out in the field a lot, and can hit multiple targets, so it worked out well for him anyway!

Match 6: Vs. Hedlok
Ramen Bowl
Master Mummy (me), Helix (Alan) & Min Min (Nefermaat) vs. Hedlo (Level 5)

…we never stood a chance, did we? But now we see the difference between a level 4 and 5! Also, MAN that super moves fast…and has a large blast radius…and hurts a lot….plz nerf.

Match 7: Team Battle
DNA Labs
Min Min (me) & Ninjara (blbShadow) vs. Ribbon Girl (James Evan) & Ninjara (Flinn)

Poor Flinn here didn’t have the most stable connection it seems. Well, another reason to avoid team battles!

Match 8: Team Battle
Ramen Bowl
Spring Man (me) & Min Min (Sid) vs. Twintelle (patterson) & Ninjara (blbShadow)

OK, here’s a bit of a better team match to end things off. I mostly wanted to keep this one for the awesome bit of teamwork at the end! Seems activating a super can cancel out the animations for getting knocked out of a throw.

And that’ll do it for my ARMS coverage today. I’ll for sure be covering the full game when it’s out on the 16th. Take up the call to ARMS!
