11I actually played this prior to the update that very recently occurred. Just saying.
Overall I do feel like I was being a little too harsh on the game, and a lot of that has to do with me seeing this particular engine in use a number of times by now. But because there are so many roguelikes out there, you really need some "thing" that keeps the player wanting more. What that thing is, who knows, but it's especially necessary when you follow a formula for the rest. Critical to any developer of a roguelike is something unique that a player of the game can say is the reason they keep coming back.
In other words, I really do hope for this game to expand a lot from where it is now. You can do tons with Star Wars material, and that should be reflected upon.
