So... Centrifuge! ^.^

I actually had to put a bit of extra work into figuring out where to get the powerups to drop, on Centrifuge. Of course, being able to dance around the edges of the arena is extremely important in the late stages of the level, so I was originally thinking "center"... but the more I tested "center", the clearer it became that not having freedom of movement through the central area was extremely limiting in ways that would, uh, definitely cause some problems. ^^;

So... that's why I started thinking about that in-between area (not too close to the edge, not too close to the center) instead. ^_^

Of course, figuring out a semi-reliable strat to get the powerups to drop there definitely took a bit of work... but after some experimentation and testing and adjustments and more testing... I managed to figure out something that seemed to work fairly well. And then, not too long after that... this run happened. =)

So here it is... my first ever VPC4 "no powerups" Centrifuge S+... hope you enjoy!


A couple minorly interesting/amusing moments from this run:
3:20 I kinda liked this moment here, where Lemon intentionally spun towards the wall so she wouldn't fire at the mine canisters. =)
4:50 Heh, primary weapon power briefly dropped to Level 2 here... probably should've been paying a bit more attention to the white energy crystals during that extremely crowded phase... but I think this was only the second time I'd gotten decently far into the extremely crowded phase... so I was concentrating on, uh, other things instead. ^^;
