So, no-Powerups VPC4 Control is something I've been trying, off-and-on, for a while now... It uh, turned out to be more difficult than I'd originally anticipated... ^^;

Interestingly(?), the phase with melee brutes (blue titans), mine canisters, and green jellyfish (2:28 in this run) turned out to be especially troublesome... but not because of the mine canisters... but rather because of the specific combination of melee brutes and green jellyfish. =p

Based on what I've seen, it seems that if a melee brute jumps and pushes a green jellyfish forward with it, the tiny fishies orbiting the jellyfish will, for some reason, overcompensate (i.e. go faster than the jellyfish in order to catch up to it!)... which can result in a cluster of fish shot forward after the melee brute lands! Long enough after, it turns out, that if you weapon swap dodged the melee attack, the fish won't be dodged as well. =/

This isn't a notable problem in less crowded conditions (when it's less crowded, it's easier to control, target, and defeat specific enemies... plus a jellyfish is much less likely to be in front of a melee brute when it leaps!), or when using Powerups (Accelerate allows you to get out of the way, Firepower allows you to destroy a lot of the fish (if not the jellyfish itself!), & Shutdown gives you temporary invulnerability!)... but in a VPC4 + no-powerups run... yeah. ^^;;

I did eventually make some tiny strategy adjustments... which may have helped? They seemed to help a little, anyway. ^^ In any case, eventually... this run happened. ^_^
