So, apparently, I've never uploaded VPC4 Hive outside of my Cactus vs. VPC4 Zone 2 video... so I thought it might be fun to give no-Powerups VPC4 Hive a try... and of course, the first character that came to mind was Lemon. =)
As usual, it took a while to figure out where I wanted the Powerups to drop, and a semi-reliable strategy to get them to drop there... but after that, things started going a lot smoother. And not too long after... this run happened. ^_^
So here it is... my first ever VPC4 "no powerups" Hive S+... hope you enjoy!
3:29 Achievement get: Chain Gang - Reach a chain of 1000
- Oh, for anybody who's interested in "Chain Gang", using Virtual Player Count (in EX Options) on Hive is probably one of the easier ways to unlock the Achievement/Trophy... mostly due to the high number of wasps (low-health enemies that are quick and easy to defeat) on this level! ^_^
- Both VPC3 and VPC4 will have over 1000 enemies on Hive (VPC3 has over 1100, and VPC4 has over 1500), so choose whichever one you think is easier (less crowded & survive farther into the level, vs. more crowded & survive not quite as far). ^^
- As far as character choice, Lemon and Holly are both pretty good against large numbers of wasps... but of course, using Powerups will make things easier for any character, so I'd recommend just using whichever character you're most comfortable with. =)
