So, I'd been thinking about trying "no powerups" VPC4 Convection with another character for a while now, and my early tests with Peanut were fairly promising, so... I decided to give it a try. =)
Figuring out a semi-reliable way to get the powerups to drop in the corner was actually pretty fun. =) Of course, things became more difficult after that. ^^
Anyway, long story short... it took a little longer than I'd hoped it would, but eventually... this run happened. ^_^
So here it is... my second ever VPC4 "no powerups" Convection S+... hope you enjoy!
A couple minorly interesting/amusing moments from this run:
0:39 Heh, was intending to hit the leash-dog with magma, but the floor heat finished it off. =)
5:53 Ack, I really thought the run was going to end here... I was trying to avoid the missiles & floor heat & Powerups... and that kinda pushed Peanut into that cluster of gun-spider bullets. Heh. ^^; Somehow, though, Peanut persevered ("I'm not about to die!"), and managed to make it through without a knockdown. ^.^
