Assault Android Cactus: Peanut vs. (VPC4) Zone 5, Stages 1, 2 and 3
Assault Android Cactus (PC(W,M,L)/Steam)
Version 161023 (2016 Oct 23)
Zone 5: Nerve Centre
4P Virtual Player Count
Non-boss/sub-boss run using Peanut
Stage 5-1: Centrifuge
Stage 5-2: Control
Stage 5-3: Convection
So... I was pretty sure Collider and Medulla would probably make a Full Zone VPC4 run of Zone 5 prohibitively difficult... but a non-boss/sub-boss run did seem like something that might be both possible and fun. =)
So I tested out a few runs with Cactus... then I thought, you know, Peanut might be a fun character to try for this... so I switched to Peanut. And I think on my third or fourth run, I somehow got through VPC4 Centrifuge, Control, and more than half of Convection before my chain finally broke. =)
Unfortunately, as sometimes happens in things like this, it took a lot longer than three or four runs to get back to that point. ^^;; But on the plus side, with the extra practice, I was able to figure out a slightly safer Peanut strategy (for survivability, that is, not necessarily for score!) for VPC4 Control. =) And of course got a lot more practice on VPC4 Centrifuge as well. ^^
Anyway, despite the troubles in getting back to Convection, playing through these levels was definitely a lot of fun. =) So anyway, here it is... my first ever non-boss/sub-boss VPC4 Zone 5 S+ run! Hope you enjoy!
