A playthrough of Infogrames' 1993 PAL-only NES game, Asterix.

Asterix was a PAL-exclusive game based on the hugely popular coming Astérix le Gaulois. Though it is overly forgiving in its difficulty and sadly short-lived, the graphics are fantastic and the controls are solid, making for a worthwhile playthrough.

For the Americans and the Japanese, this is certainly a solid find that you'd unlikely come across unless you were specifically looking for it. It's quite fun and charming. It was actually picked up for US release by Electro Brain, but that never happened. Lame.
