Killer Instinct (Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
614A playthrough of Nintendo's 1995 fighter for the Game Boy, Killer Instinct.
Played through as Jago on the normal difficulty level.
Played using the Super Game Boy. And can I say wow? Obvious limitations of the Game Boy aside, this is one helluva port of a game that had no business being ported to the GB. Many of the moves and combos still work, the character graphics are well-defined and surprisingly well animated, the soundtrack capably apes the original with some excellent 8-bit arrangements, and the Super Game Boy really makes for some great use of color on the menu and cinema screens.
The game also allowed the Super Game Boy to use the second-player controller to control player 2, so that's what I did. Just because I could.
