Astro Go! Go! - Super Nintendo - Intro & Wonder Cup playthrough (OSSC) [4k60]
Full longplay / playthrough / walkthrough / trueplay of the Wonder Cup tournament from the rather wacky mode 7 cosmos racing game Space Race: Astro Go! Go!. Which is a cartoon take on futuristic style racing. Many may think F-Zero when they see this, but Astro Go! Go! actually plays more like a top down racing game much like Super Skid Marks and Power Drive with how it controls. making for a bit of a strange beast when you first play it. Once you get used to the controls expect to have a lot of fast paced racing action in all directions. As unlike F-Zero, you can find yourself racing towards and side on against the camera on some tracks.
Bright, bold and very colourful Astro Go! Go!'s look has a lot more charm than F-Zero ever did. It also comes across as a much faster game with how the cars drive. Developed by KAZe best known for their pinball games, hitting barriers and other cars does cause your car to bounce around like a pinball, which is rather disjointing when it happens at high speed as you can quick find yourself driving backwards very quickly. Largely forgotten due to only getting a Japanese release, at one stage a North America version appears to have been planned with Seika releasing it as Freeway Flyboys, this might have been a working title we suspect.
