Armored Hunter GUNHOUND EX - PlayStation Portable - Intro & Stage 1 & 2 gameplay [UHD 4K]
A modern day take on the run and gun gameplay from Cybernator. GUNHOUND EX is a enhanced edition of the 2009 PC release, although with so little on the original PC release, it's hard to tell what has been changed or added. It's fast, furious and fun, control a mech and gun down pretty much everything in sight.
Story wise it's your standard sort of military affair with two sides going to war, in this case fighting over a new resource called neutron polymer. Cutscenes do drag on a bit, but gameplay is fairly varied with different missions having different objectives, the first mission has you storming and enemy base. While the second see you protecting a ferry and its cargo. With each stage featuring a huge end of level robot mech to fight.
It's a very well made title from Dracue Software, who sadly closed their doors in 2018. Be preapred to put in some practice too as this is one game, you won't finish on your first try as you really have to learn the bosses attack patterns and stage layouts. Captured at 1x mode only as the Elgato didn't support any of mode of the OSSC.
Also known as: 機装猟兵ガンハウンドEX (Japan)

Armored Hunter GUNHOUND EX was also released on PC and was available on Steam. However the game was delisted in 2018 and the PSP and PC digital versions were both delisted. The retail PSP release is now the only way to obtain a copy.

Footage is captured directly from original hardware in this case a PlayStation Portable 3000 console, via YPbPr (Component RCA connector) captured via Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro using a open source scan converter (OSSC). Upscaled to 4K to improve the video bit rate. Captured at 1x mode only as the Elgato didn't support any other mode of the OSSC, footage has been cropped to increase window size.
