Atelier Ryza 2 - RTX 2060 / Ryzen 2600 - 1440p Ultra Settings
Gameplay benchmark of Atelier Ryza 2 on an RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 2600, using RivaTuner Statistics Server to display info on the top of the screen. Nothing very elaborate, just some basic exploration and combat early in the game.
Resolution has been set to 2560x1440 through the config file. Window Mode is set to Fullscreen. The game runs exclusively on the DirectX 11 API.
Surprise: it's another fun game cursed with a port of dubious quality! Not only is there constant stuttering if you don't have a controller plugged in, but it also suffers from some really weird scaling when it comes to resolution, just like the first game. And yes, the game IS running at 1440p despite what it says on the Settings menu. It only shows up to 1080p in-game, so I had to edit the config file.
The game refuses to use the GPU beyond around 80% regardless of the resolution. You'd think that this would mean there's a CPU bottleneck going on, but either the game is sneakily raising some settings together with resolution or there's some weird engine quirk hampering performance because even at 4K it wouldn't fully utilize the GPU.
And Ryza's thighs look top notch, but I'm not sure if the rest of the game's visuals warrant this level of performance.
