I get to the exit of level 2 here. There’s an optional fight with some rune dwarves that could be really tough.

Using conventional tactics didn’t work for me so I used web in conjunction with free movement on my fighters to beat them down. My main character has free movement because of the sword of spiders, Kahlid has a ring that grants free movement and Minsc has a couple of potions that do the job.

I’ve used this tactic a few times now and it mostly is very effective.
