Use the power of the P-Balloon to traverse the poisonous swamp!
I had wanted to make a jungle level using the Super Mario World theme for a long while but all of the concepts I had for the jungle theme were ruined either by the spin-jump or by the fact that you must have water in your jungle level. The P-Balloon finally gave me an excuse to do one.
I had a few more ideas for obstacles but I felt the P-Balloon can be a bit tricky for some players so I opted to ease some of the challenge. I know it's a little weird that the level starts off with an immediate wall you have to break through, but I was worried players new to the SMM2 P-Balloon might not think to hold Y or B to go faster so I wanted to force them to use it instead of not realling it's an option and taking minutes just to get through the first half only to die repeatedly in the second half.
This will probably be my last level for a while if not ever just because I've made so many levels recently that I'm feeling burned out. I tried making a simple ground level to start off my Super World for an even 30 levels but I just wasn't feeling it. I'm hoping that by stepping away for a while to do other things I'll feel a bit more fresh and creative rather than trying to get levels out just to fill a Super World.
