Julian and I made this video as a project for our game design class at Virginia Tech. Our first assignment was to review a game we found interesting and comment on the various aspects of it.
Bastion's always been a really inspirational game to me. Before it, most indie games I played either had simplistic stories or modelled the entire gameplay off one or two mechanics (thinking games like Plain Sight). Bastion managed to have a compelling storyline *and* keep costs down.
