Beetle PSX - CPU Overclocking - Smooth framerates in Jumping Flash!
See here an in-development build of Beetle PSX with CPU overclocking enabled!
The game Jumping Flash was originally released for PlayStation1 in 1995. On original PSX hardware, it is known for an erratic framerate that seems to target 30fps but occasionally dips well under that.
You can see in this video for yourself how much of an improvement CPU overclocking brings to this game.
NOTE: Beetle PSX previously had an option called 'CPU Overclocking' which was actually erroneously named. A more appropriate name for it would have been GTE Overclocking, or even GTE stall removal. The existing CPU Overclock option will be renamed as 'GTE Overclocking' in light of this.
DISCLAIMER: We are using Beetle PSX HW here with the software renderer at 1x resolution (native).
