In this video I show you the best Valorant console settings, including the best aim settings. Although many Valorant console settings are preference, some settings are helpful for gaining information in game.

For your map settings you will want to turn off the rotate map with player option. While this might take awhile to get used to, it can help with reading the map and understanding what is happening around you. Additionally, you will want to increase the map size and decrease the zoom so that you can see more of the map.

Another setting that you may want to change is the enemy highlight color. The enemy highlight color is the color of the glow around an enemy. You will want to use the color that you will react to faster, typically red or yellow.

For controller settings Valorant provides good preset layouts that you can use. Both the Valorant and traditional controller layouts are good options. However, Valorant will be the best preset layout for many.

When it comes to the best aim settings you will typically want to use the highest sensitivity that you can aim comfortably with. By using a higher sensitivity you can switch between players faster. The time saved when snapping between targets can make all the difference when playing Valorant. However, you will want to ensure that your sensitivity isn’t too high that you miss your shots.

A base sensitivity of 10 is a good option for many, however, a slightly lower sensitivity may be preferred for accuracy. Additionally, your sensitivity will be affected by the aim curve that you use. For many the best aim curve setting will be extreme. With the extreme aim curve your movement will slow down notably when moving quickly. This can help you control a higher sensitivity and switch between 2 targets easily.

Additionally, to get the best aim settings for Valorant console you will want to enable the Advanced Sensitivity settings. With the advanced settings enabled you will gain the ability to customize your horizontal and vertical sensitivity based on the aiming mode you are in. Typically, using a slightly lower sensitivity for focus and ADS will help make aiming easier on Valorant console. However, you won’t want to lower the sensitivity too much from your base sensitivity. Additionally, you may prefer to lower the sniper sensitivity a fair amount.

When changing your Valorant controller settings you will also want to make adjustments to the movement options. One option you will want to change is the crouch behavior. Hold is the better option as it allows you to switch between crouching and walking or running faster, however, doing this may be a bit difficult. For beginners toggle is the better option. Additionally, you will want to adjust the walk/run threshold so you can walk or run faster, without accidentally activating it. Typically setting the walk/run threshold setting to around 0.87 will work well. However, you can increase this slightly if needed. Additionally, setting the default movement mode to Run will help you move quicker when needed.

Another important aspect in Valorant console is audio. Due to this you will want to have the best audio settings so that you can hear enemies. Typically, this means turning down the voice-over, video and music volume while keeping the sound effects volume high. Additionally, you will want to test playing with enable HRTF turned on and off. By default enable HRTF will bed turned off, however, you may find it easier to hear enemies with it turned on.
