For some reason it seems that almost every urban dystopia is some kind of capitalist nightmare with a strict division between the Upper City (where all the rich people hang out) and the Lower City (where all the rest of the population live in desperate poverty). In Binary Domain this distinction makes for a somewhat depressing start of the game in the slums, but this is thankfully then followed by a refreshing move to slick Mirror's Edge-esque environments once the "Rust Crew" enters the Upper City with its gleaming skyscrapers and shiny monorails.
