BioShock: Infinite Walkthrough Part 10: Emporia
2Following an attack by Songbird, Booker and Elizabeth, who both survived the crash of The First Lady unharmed, walk out of the wreckage to discover two people whom they encountered in Finkton attempting to play the notes of a tune that summoned Songbird on a piano. As they run over to stop them, two reveal that they were never risking summoning Songbird as the notes need to be played through a specific instrument contained within the statues such as the ones in Elizabeth's tower and aboard The First Lady in order to work on Songbird's internal programming but that they don't know any notes that could be used by Booker and Elizabeth to control Songbird and make it harmless to themselves as both are aware that neutralizing Songbird will be the only way for them to ever leave Columbia alive. Continuing on past them, Booker and Elizabeth discover that they crashed in Emporia, most elite and upscale part of Columbia populated by its most influential and wealthiest residents, including the city's leadership. Knowing that as one of the people responsible for Songbird's construction, Comstock will likely know how to control it, Booker and Elizabeth set off towards Comstock House, the formal seat of Columbian government and Comstock's personal residence. However, their trek through Emporia will quickly turn violent due to the on-going uprising of Vox Populi who have started to rampage throughout the district, killing or humilliating any and all civillians they come across despite the desperate attempts by the Columbian military to stop them. With Booker and Elizabeth being actively pursued by both Vox Populi and Columbian forces, they find themselves forced to fight their way through a massive depot-like gondola station meant to take them deeper into the district and closer to the Comstock House. After they eventually make their way into the elevator leading out of the depot, Booker and Elizabeth are forced to hide as another statue summoning Songbird sounds off, causing it to appear and start to look for both of them. As it leaves, Elizabeth forces Booker to promise her that if it comes to the worst, he won't allow Songbird to recapture her...
