BioShock: Infinite Walkthrough Part 4: Battleship Bay
4As Booker wakes up soon after falling into the water, he finds himself on a beach with Elizabeth trying to revive him after having dragged him to the shore. Disoriented, Booker tells Elizabeth to go on ahead while he regains his bearings, discovering that he is still in Columbia as he has landed into Battleship Bay, an artificial beach and boardwalk made for the city's residents. While exploring the beach and looking for Elizabeth, Booker sees a flyer for The First Lady, an airship museum docked nearby and decides to use it to try and get himself and Elizabeth out of the city. After eventually reuniting with Elizabeth and explaining his plan to her, getting her to co-operate by suggesting that they head to Paris, France upon leaving the city, Booker proceeds to lead Elizabeth through the boardwalk, intent on leaving the area and hijacking The First Lady before Columbian police and military catch up to them. As they make their way through the boardwalk and its entertainment facilities, both Booker and Elizabeth witness the full extent of Columbian racist culture and segregation, primarily aimed at blacks and Irish living within the city who are seen as mere menial slaves expected to be fully obidient to their white betters to the point where they even have segregated bathrooms. Along the way to the enterance into The First Lady, Booker encounters the interracial couple which he refused to stone during the raffle earlier that same day with two thanking him. After Booker and Elizabeth ultimately reach the airship enterance, they quickly find themselves in an trap set up by Columbian military forces and multiple civillians as a ticket booth teller stabs Booker through the hand while civillians try to grab Elizabeth. However, despite their efforts, Booker manages to reach his weapon and kill the attackers, much to Elizabeth's shock as she runs off on her own, horrified by Booker's willingness to kill. Aware that she could easily be recaptured alone and in panicked state, Booker sets off after Elizabeth and eventually finds her trying and failing to pull the lever of the sky gondola leading further into the district. Upon joining her and activating the gondola, Booker explains the truth of the situation to Elizabeth, rationalizing that he killed in self-defense in order to protect himself and prevent her recapture. Despite still fearing Booker, Elizabeth resigns to the fact that she will need his help to escape Columbia with two proceeding deeper into the district together...
