Graphics and Sound

Blackmoor - Dubbery's Quest has nice graphics, the game is presented in a cartoony manner but with lots of detail, the characters are cool, quite funny by design...silly even, but quite nice and pretty, environments are pretty too, also detailed and having beautiful backdrops, truly unique from each other, colors are great, the game looks vivid and clear making it very nice to look at, animations are also quite smooth, the moving characters and parts are animated nicely giving it a fluid effect during gameplay, music and sounds are also cool, the soundtrack is original and atmospheric in nature which is really nice to listen to and the battle sounds are great, lots of sounds and lots of variety, special effects on the other hand are nice too, the weapon and magic visual effects are great and certainly makes the battles more exciting and fun, overall, the game looks quite pretty with its cartoony characters and presentations.

Gameplay

Blackmoor - Dubbery's Quest is a side scrolling game full of battles and boss fights, you will be exploring and fighting your way in different locations such as graveyards, mine shafts and many more, there'll be a lot of minions in the levels but quite weak and so easy to kill, the bosses on the other hand are a different story, they are really tough and hard to kill, your character can jump, attack and duck, you can even combine your moves to execute different attacks, like jump and attack in the air, or duck and attack, but that's not all there is to it, as your character levels up, he'll learn new abilities like fireballs, hurricane kick and even dragon punch, the combat system is quite simple and easy to learn, what started out as simple kicks will eventually become cool powerful moves...just give it some time.

Blackmoor - Dubbery's Quest is quite fun to play but the normal battles aren't really that challenging, it is the boss fights you need to worry about here, you need to be good at executing your different attacks when you confront the bosses.
