Blockbench is a popular free & open source 3D modelling tool for Windows, Mac, Linux and even the web. They recently launched BlockBench 5 in beta form and there is a LOT to like in this release. Like what? A new UI, armature/bones/weight painting for animations and a powerful new spline object.
