First off, getting the Axis of Havoc Achievement does NOT require winning the CHIMPS session. This one has me die on Round 98, I suspect I could have at least put Ball Cannon on First but I'll get to that; and I still managed the Achievement. That said, I have a LOT to say.

I had to do quite a bit of calculations to figure out how to make this even approachable. Do you notice how for example I built 2 Villages both with the B2 upgrade? In effect, I spend (and all of these values will be before the mode multiplier) $2870 ($1020 from the surplus base Village, $1000 from the first B2 upgrade, and then $850 from the second) and would have to get about $15350 before I would make it up. Not a problem; the Tier 3 upgrades of Sniper have a cost sum that would have Vegeta break his scouter yet again. Mix in T2 Sniper, T2 and M2 Village, B3 Glue, and M3 Ice, and eventually I hit profit.

Oh, and I get the T/B Village to T5/B2 at first convenience. That thing eats through Ceramics every time it attacks (just that it's infrequent and expends 10 Pierce on each MOAB) and also makes in-range Primaries' Tier 2 upgrades free, which Glue particularly benefits from, hence my second Glue purchase. (In hindsight, I should have bought MOAB Glue for BOTH of my Glue Gunners, not Relentless Glue.) Also, I go B/M with the Boomerang--B/T doesn't work because he won't be functional against the conveniently spaced DDTs and I don't have a heck of a lot against those to begin with.

This does bring me to the 2 key problems:
1) Snipers suck against Round 90+ MOABs
2) Pat Fusty feels incomplete

I'll start with 1, because of course, Snipers ARE the star attraction here. You would generally want Snipers on Strong so that they can obliterate the biggest, baddest targets. Against the MOAB floods, it is easy to run into the issue that they still fire slowly, other than the B3+ Sniper who has his damage output be inept without proper support. Oh, and in case you're curious? NONE of the Sniper upgrades have any MOAB Bonus Damage. There is a reason I had bought the M2 upgrade for the T5 AND B5 Snipers: so that they could chip at the MOABs with the shrapnel hits. But even though the T5/M2 crosspath had a BIG buff to his shrapnel's damage output, THIS isn't even enough, oh no. The T5 and B5 Snipers both being put on Strong where the T5 sets up the weaken state for the B5 to work with guarantees that they'll keep shooting at the biggest target even when that is all the way in the back, but they have NO reliability if they consider any other targeting mode; First will just have them waste shots on Ceramics the T5 Village would be taking care of, Last would waste shrapnel, Close would only care about proximity, and even Elite has the problem of involving Ceramics and exit proximity. There is a reason why Round 98 would still just drown me in MOABs. I have had not ONE attempt get past Round 98 as a result. Oh, and remember that this is freaking LOGS where this is happening.

And I need to make my points about Pat Fusty. Pat absolutely feels incomplete in terms of gameplay. On the one hand, this point is going to help me provide my points about what has Mighty Glaciers often be underpowered in most games. On the other, it still gets bothersome to have Pat be simply nerfed because Rallying Roar has speedster support bias that could stand to be fixed in the first place. And yes, that's the thing: Rallying Roar is not useful to Pat standalone, the Damage boost being maybe 75% to himself at L14. Brickell's Naval Tactics doubles attack rate at L3 in addition to allowing for unblockable damage at L5. Now obviously, Pat's boost is global and does affect Snipers, but he still has short range on both his attacks and Rallying Roar. When it lasts 10 seconds a L14, you'd expect something with a little more punch for Pat himself, not something so subject to law of diminishing. Pat's other activation, MOAB Squeeze, already spends Pat's attack time that could be going to actual threats. Really, I think I'd want to write up an analysis and suggestion about the big lug because I can't exactly cover about him within YouTube's 5000 character limit.
