Battle 1 at 2:56, Battle 2 at 10:35, and Battle 3 at 18:08. I definitely recommend going through Battle 3.

After a simple "defense" mission, we run across a man named Leonard Davia, who teaches us about how to handle the Monster Allies aspect that provides the RTS portion of the game. Think of a mix of Pokemon and Starcraft, basically, but with a lynchpin unit acting as a commander capable of increasingly greater variety.

Once our dealings with the village are dealt with, the Windmill Plains has us subject to the cliche of a girl falling from the sky in the form of Trista Windell. Yep, boy meets girl who falls from the sky. Oh, and we have to defend her from some monsters in a battle where things are a bit iffy to handle, especially when your monsters' pathfinding has to be managed because this is a Nintendo DS game, not a Gamecube game like Battalion Wars. At least I'm able to get both of the treasures here without losing anybody, YAY.

After rescuing Trista Windell, we take her back to Hanna Arlent so that she can talk with Hanna about their dealings with the Sages' stuff, how Trista is somebody named the "Daughter of the Wind", how Hanna Arlent is the former Sage of Light, and how-....wait, what? OH NO!
