Mana Crystal tutorial battle at 3:54. Random battle at Windmill Plains at 15:16. Battle VS Fire Brigand Wizard at 26:58.

Starting off is a tutorial on the capture points of the game: Mana Crystals. Mana Crystals become purified (IE captured) by having a viable unit for the task near it for long enough while no enemies are near it. More of the viable purifying units being near the crystal will speed up the pace of capture, naturally. Isaac and any monsters marked with a flag on their stats screen are capable of purifying crystals. At the point of this tutorial, ALL available monsters can manage it. And yes, this includes the newly introduced Purple Caps, who are basic range attackers with actual AI having them do spacing to make it harder to wear them down if they get enough space to retreat, so they can actually draw your units around if you're not watchful.

Oh, and if you're wondering why purify/capture Crystals, first benefit is that nearby allies get healed, and the second is that MP gets restored not only starting half a second earlier per Crystal controlled, but for 1 extra MP per Crystal controlled as well on each MP recovery interval.

So going around, which goes through interruptions from random battles now being a thing, even if we get a few extra monsters along the way. Along the way to our destination, we run afoul of the Fire Brigand Wizard, who on count of involving some nasty implications beyond what we're already presented with with this guy also doubles as a Wake Up Call Boss, since he has an explosion spell for crowd control that also will hit your own monsters hard if you approach him with them. Though at least I can just have Isaac solo him with Ice Shot attacks and end him.

Most of the story here is just coming to terms with Hanna Arlent's death and figuring out what to do, really.
