With the COVID-19 crisis still very much here and hurting us all, we need to find some means of maintaining a normal routine and try to keep ourselves from not going too nutty in quarantine around the world. Board games can really help out with that, but how?

A decent number of news outlets, youtubers, even the WHO, have discussed playing board games and video games as a means of coping with the current world climate. Primarily talking about what the "best" games are. For me, I wanted to discuss a little bit beyond that. There aren't necessarily games that are better or worse during social distancing, but I wanted instead to talk a bit about WHY these things are important. Why does distancing help us, how can board games help us, and what are some good means to play them?

As always, I love to know what you all have to say. Feel free to share your frustrations, solutions, experiences, anything and everything. The fact remains that we're all in this together, as a planet, and we can at least try our best to keep things together. As always, please stay safe in these trying times!
