In this chapter, Lilith has no choice but to barge right into the very heart of the Crimson Lance enclave in order to rescue Patricia Tannis, kept hostage by Commander Steele. Once this is managed, Patricia instructs Lilith to reactivate the ECHO Comm System, shut down by the Lance, meaning that even more squads of those fierce warriors have to be mowed down - and some of them are already entangled in battle with the mysterious Guardians of The Vault. Upon restoring communications, Lilith learns that Commander Steele herself is already on the way to opening The Vault - and that she must be intercepted at any cost, or there'll be hell to pay...
