Part 1: Revisiting the Rampage

6 years ago i played this hack ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHtPDKtqGdF9Zi4Pe809LO7KJ0CaM_PFt ) And since it's my favorite hack i replayed it again, but this time is without rewinds, contrary as how i used to play the hacks back then. At first i was worried, because i have a soft spot for this hack, it could end like ASPE Mario and not be as good as i remembered, but, i had Zsnes ready to go so, let's replay this hack.
I recorded 2 worlds for Part 1 since W1 is so short. Bowser is at it again and you must go after him, not a big change to the story but eh

w1-0 Yoshi's House: The Vanilla house with different Background, nothing else
w1-1 Verdant Isles 1: And we start with a grassy level, and it has 2 exits, something i don't see often with the initial levels. This one is a good starter, it has high terrain and pits. I like it
w1-Palace: The first of four palaces. This one is completely yellow and with yellow enemies, it's pretty standard
w1-2 Verdant Isles 2: Another grassy level, green for the first half and then it's athletic in the second, another good level
w1-3 Island Bridge: Level with rotating platforms and logs, it also uses the rope FG that i also don't see used too often. another good one
w1-Castle #1 Island Castle: This one starts as usual and then it shifts to a underground cavern, and i like the FG for that section. The bowser fight was very easy. On to world 2

w2-1 Rocky Channel 1: It's not a desert level. Underwater level, a short one before it changes to a mountain like level, i like the second half more if i'm honest, it has something that i like, i don't know what it is but i like it
w2-2 Toxic Thicket 1: Man, the Kirby music is very nostalgic for me. The level is just toxic water that one hit kills you, i used this idea a few times before. This level also has you climbing vines to avoid said water, at least for the first half, after that is just piranha garden
w2-3 Toxic Thicket 2: Underwater yet again, with that sweet old "Buoy Base Galaxy" port, again, very nostalgic for me, the level can be a bit slow but it's underwater, what were you expecting? but it's slow also for the maze like structure, and to traverse tight corridors with torpedo launchers can be a bit hard
w2-Secret Zone: It's Top Secret Area with an extra screen, not much to it
w2-A Rocky Channel: Ah yes, slowdown, i sure missed this old ass emulator. Level itself is rocky with layer 3 water, i like this type of levels, that's why i used this concept a few times. This level hides the secret exit to the second switch palace, and speaking of the palace...
w2-Palace: Just like the yellow one, this one is Green, and it may seem normal like the yellow one but this one has a "Puzzle" of some sorts, so yeah, this time is not that easy to press the switch
w2-B Toxic Thicket 3: Mushroom athletic level, this one has line guided enemies for the most part, then you enter the second half which is forest themed, and with piranha plants
w2-House Toxic House: A ghost house with purple water, and it's not control reversing like some DKC3 Poisonous pipeline inspired levels do, this one hit kills you. I like the sections where you can see the forest BG. The layer 2 section is not my favorite but it works
w2-Castle #2 Toxic Castle: Taking inspiration from that Sky castle of SMB3 i see, First half is that, "lava" on top and bottom of the screen. Second half is layer 2 with bullies from SM64. The boss is also the big bullies from SM64. And with that w2 and this video is over

Certainly the first two worlds have been a blast so far, but is the rest of the hack like these first two worlds? let's find out
