Part 6: /f/ire in the hack

World 6, lava themed, and just like v2 this one is hard

-w6-1 ASS WE CAN: A fairly easy start for World 6, this one revolves around Thwomps and spin jumps to activate On/Off blocks. And that's pretty much it. Ah yes you can miss one v coin pretty easy
-w6-2 Hot Damned: Despite the name this stage doesn't use the theme from Super Meat Boy. This is also another easy stage, while i like the first half the second half felt a bit lazy, but whatever the stage is good as it is
-w6-3 Lanky Rave Cave: And now we turn the difficulty up with this one. The difficulty comes in forms of Barrels, that sprite is weirs as shit, the first half is just rotating barrels, nothing particularly hard aside of their function being weird and stupid, and the second half is the rocket barrel, i like these types of stage but this one is ridiculous, having tight corridors and fuck the final part of the stage being a quick reaction hill. But other than that, cool level.
-w6-D Darkholme's Dungeon Dive: Yet another fairly easy stage, i don't know what is up with the difficulty curves. Anyway this is an underwater level, it's chill for the most part if you take your time. Overall, Good level
-w6-E Masochistic Ghost House: This level is short but it's also a puzzle level. The solution of this was somewhat tricky to figure out, what you need to do is take damage in the same screen of the changing item, this will rotate their cycle and give you the item you need, the pantsu/feather in this case, and i ain't falling for that final box son. Good level
-w6-A Fire In Da Hands: This is another difficulty spike. The concept of this level is good, but it was poorly executed, SPECIALLY in the second half, the level design for the first half is alright, tolerable, but the second half is straight up bullshit. And why do i drop the flame randomly with spin jumps? Not terrible, nor bad, nor good, eh
-w6-B Sticky Stinkhole: I like this stage, particularly the gimmick. You are glued to the stage and can only move with jumps, and the best part is, the stage is well designed around it, the palette of the BG needs a little work because holy shit it looks bad. Anywyay, very good level
-w6-4 Magmatic Pathway: Aesthetically this stage looks gorgeous, and the music choice is something i would expect from the booster anon. Level itself is good, aside from some tight corridors with lava, but that's a minor thing since most of the stage is platforming. I enjoyed this one
-w6-5 Fur Friend Furnace Ruins: This stage sure loves Football chucks a bit much, and that's my complain, these fucks generate a lot of footballs almost filling the screen, but besides that the level is alright and simple
-w6-Fortress Powered Supply Fortress PLUS: Holy shit this one was tough. This one won't give you much time to react but it will give you safe spots. And watch your step because some jannies would shot you in the face and you may need a mushroom to just Damage Boost through them, a good level but a hard one
-w6-F Yamaku's Shed: Ah sweet, a Kaizo stage, and im pretty sure it was made by the same anon that did "Rin is Best Girl" in v2, just by looking at the end of the level. Anyway this level is fine. It's a good platforming level with a timer in it, this being the lemon lift. Despite my not liking kaizo stuff this one was pretty alright.
-w6-Palace KINO SWITCH PALACE: A puzzle, oh goodie. I don't know from where it's the dude in the beginning so... The stage is a giant puzzle using the "Live" at his advantage, i screwed a lot by bonking my head in blocks but the stage is short enough to be beaten fast, more faster than i did at least
-w6-6 Rekt Thread: I don't like this stage. What's the problem? Pretty much everything, from the color, the obstacles, the tight corridors, the overuse of spikes, you get it by now, the stage is hard no doubt but it's mostly artificial. Im going to be generous and say it's eh
-w6-Castle SADIST COURSE EX: It all comes to this, this level right here is HARD, and the penalty for one fuck up depends on whether or not you pressed the switches. If you have them, you get no midpoint, but get the final v coin, if you didn't get them you get the midpoint but no v coin, pick your poison. This was brutal but i had fun with it
-Haimari Boss: Thanks DoodleWill for the tip. Yep, this was a cool boss
