It's been a long time since I made a BoF2 LLG vid, but I haven't quit this challenge.

This boss is hard and required a few attempts to beat. I'd say it's the hardest boss since Augus so far. What I really do hate him for is that I was forced to collect 900,000 coins (ridiculous!) in order to stick to the low level rules. In a normal game, I would've just caught the Uparupa (spelling?), but I can't do that in a low level game.

M.C. Tusk has just a bit less HP than 3 Dragons can take and happens to have a very strong defence. We must use a combination of physical attacks and two Dragons to bring his HP down to less than 100, so that Rand (who is, according to the FAQ, the survivor of this boss battle) can end the battle with an F.Spice (much more effective than ShaveIce). The problem is that the boss tends to use Cure2 (restores 100 HP) when low at HP. Thus, I went for the following strategy: first dragon, physical attacks until the boss has between 512 and 612 HP (512 damage from the second dragon + less than 100 HP needed to die from an F.Spice), then Bait everyone but Rand and Ryu, have Ryu summon and die, and finish the battle with the item.

This was hard to achieve, especially because the boss likes to perform the earthquake attack which deals 48 damage to the entire party. In this recording, he used it only once and, fortunately, towards the end, meaning I could keep my hard-earned Biscuits for the next bosses.
