Bright Memory (Xbox Series S) - Gameplay
Welcome to Game Play. A series, of sorts, where I check out various video games and share the pure gameplay experience with you.
Today we're taking a look at Bright Memory on the Xbox Series S.
My immediate impressions so far:
This gameplay video was requested by a viewer and thank you for reaching out, my friend :)
Having played this yesterday on the Series X, where I was impressed with the overall quality, I admittedly expected a drop in both technical, gameplay and visual performance on the Series S.
But I'm happy to report that Bright Memory runs great on the Series S. It maintains the steady level of performance I witnessed on the more powerful console despite having lower specs while rendering the game beautifully. I'm not sure whether or not it was running at 60fps, but it was quite a smooth experience.
Like with Borderlands 3, I'm honestly amazed by the Series S. It's not the perfect console, to be honest, but it's simply astonishing to see such a high level of quality from such a small console. I hate to repeat myself but the Series S really is a magnificent device.
The game was recorded directly on the console to an external HDD. No postwork has been done.
