In todays video we are building our 3rd Lego 18+ Nintendo set. We are building the 2021 Lego Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block set #71395, with 2,065 pieces. Before we dive too deep in todays build, we begin with our four Lego advent calendars (Harry Potter, Marvel, and 2022 & 2023 Star Wars) for the 17th and 18th days of Christmas. Buying these Nintendo sets started with buying the Piranha Plant, then I decided to complete my goal of owning the NES set, which we just built. There are four sets in total and this is our third. All that’s left now is to buy the Bowser set from 2022. I choose this set for today’s video because it’s the last cheapest set at $200, where Bowser is $270. Unboxing the set we find 13 bags, 1 book, and no stickers. The build took my 5 and a half hours. I thought the build would be mostly technic, but surprisingly it was mostly system bricks. Reviewing the set, we find why this set is $200, and not cheaper (Assuming its just a Yellow block). It is actually more than a yellow question block. With a push of the top, a display flops into position showing three iconic levels of the Super Mario 64 game. The first is Princess Peaches Castle with a micro Mario and Peach, the front of the castle removes to show the interior and portal in the game. Look downwards you see Course 7, the Lethal Lava Land, and it features the rolling log, and a rotating volcano. To the left we have Course 4, Cool, Cool Mountain, featuring a removable chunk of mountain to show the inner slides of the level. To the right we have Course 1, Bob-Omb Battlefield with the Chain Chomp, and same expected level of detail as the other courses. If that isn’t enough. On the front of the set there is a door your pull open and find a mini Bowser, this goes in a flop out area called Bowsers Trap, where he can face off against Mario and get thrown to the side. There is so much to this set, it is a definite recommend. As always please comment your thoughts down below. If you enjoyed the video please Like, Share, and Subscribe! Thank you for watching!
