In todays video we are celebrating 600 subscribers! The build we are taking on is one I really had to hunt for, well rather hunt down a good deal for. The set we are building is the 2015 Star Wars UCS TIE Fighter set #75095, with 1,685 pieces. Before we dive too deep in todays build, we begin with our four Lego advent calendars (Harry Potter, Marvel, and 2022 & 2023 Star Wars) for the 11th and 12th days of Christmas. This build was discovered at my local Bricks and Minifigs store, they had this one for around $250, or one brand new for $450. The decision was clear on which one to chose, as I am going to build it anyway. Save the $200! The one thing I did think I could do to make this rebuild nice after my traditional cleaning, was to purchase a sticker sheet off of Bricklink. After I disassembled, cleaned, and inventoried this set, I found that I had to order a missing piece and that sticker sheet. Unfortunately, the sticker sheet was over $40 and it was decided that I wasn’t going to pay that. So I ordered my part, and figured I will cut and move the stickers that are existing on the set to put them right. Normally this build would have been in 12 bags, with a single book, and 1 sticker sheet. For this build we are working from an assortment of pre sorted bags that I arranged and sorted. The build took under 6 hours and was rather easy if you could see beyond the confusion of the book telling you to build everything at once, while making it look like you don’t actually do that. The completed project is wonderful, and rather impressive. Im a sucker for TIE fighters, and the detail on this one is just amazing. One thing to note is the highly detailed TIE Fighter minifigure, I have seen similar ones to this set resell for around $40! One detail I like is how its old Lego with sharp edges. At the cost of this set used, it is comparable to the new and currently for sale UCS X-Wing and UCS Landspeeder. After the X-Wing, I would clearly buy this set if I had to. This is a must own for any Star Wars Collector!. As always please comment your thoughts down below. If you enjoyed the video please Like, Share, and Subscribe! Thank you for watching!
