Can You Beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky With Invisible Weapons?
1Scar's health has taken a turn again... This time, it isn't the emissions that are causing problems for him. He's now unable to see his weapons and the weapons of other stalkers, too!
At 17:48, I reference that I used a couple of glitches at this point in the run. I do in fact only show one of these in this video, though I'm happy to explain in detail about the two glitches I used at this point in this run. The first glitch involved me dropping my weapon (while aiming, for the best effect) in a certain position against a destructible wall, causing my weapon to briefly clip into it and move the piece of wall out of the way (that piece of wall will explode once the military helicopter crashes upon being defeated). This glitch is shown at 18:24 and is performed to allow me to skip the helicopter boss battle in this level. Save the game before performing this glitch here (or any other location) as you might lose your weapon.
The second glitch is a bit less complex, only involving me jamming the set of doors right after this segment open with a weapon (I used two weapons as I wanted to be sure that they'd stay open). From here, you can sprint ahead, halfway towards the machine gunner and then back towards the two doors that you've jammed open. Pass back through them again, collect your dropped weapons and wait for the timer to finish to easily complete this final segment of the level and proceed towards the CNPP (you'll still have some enemies to work through, but you won't be swarmed by them as much). This part is not shown in this video.
There is actually a third glitch after the two prior ones that can be observed in this video. This only results in Strelok falling off his scripted path on the catwalk and remaining stuck on the ground. To do this, one can save their game, load and repeat both of these actions in rapid succession until Strelok falls off the catwalk (it seems to work better while he is jumping, from my experience). Once he falls off the catwalk, be sure to work your way down from your spawn point at the CNPP (right behind where you're facing, at first), walk over to Strelok and shoot him to finish off the run (or shoot him from where you're standing to achieve the same result). Quicksaving and quickloading the game work best for performing this glitch. Check your controls via the in-game settings if you're unsure on how to do these.
