C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 - Soviet Mission 4, Home Front [Red Alert 2]
C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 for C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge is a mod that was released in April 1st of 2018 by Omegabolt. Soviet Mission 4, Home Front from the original Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 single player campaign with some additional features listed in the modification's website. The modification uses Yuri's Revenge as its base for the rules.
Yuri's Revenge is an expansion pack for C&C Red Alert 2, released in the October 2001. It contains 7 missions for both Soviets and the Allies, it's focused around time travelling back in time to stop Yuri's secret plan of dominating the world by activating secretly constructed Psychic Dominator devices during the war. Missions are way harder than these in vanilla Red Alert 2 campaign but are still much easier than those in C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 3.3 or C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 2.0. There was also planned a campaign for Yuri but it was scrapped due to the time constraints.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
This mission is pretty much the same as in the vanilla Red Alert 2, there are lots of the ways to complete this mission, it's only up to you how. The Allies will strike you in the matter of minutes, believe me that it is a lot of time for you to prepare against their amphibious and naval invasion. If you really dislike air threat in the form of Korean Black Eagles, you can train some Flak Troopers just at the beginning to destroy them with some luck. But the Allied jets are just a pure annoyance, the main threat will be coming just after timer hits 00:00, paratroopers together with the MBTs, Destroyers and the MCV. The best method by far is to destroy the invasion force before they are able to establish the base, you might focus on some Terror Drones, Squids and Typhoons. Keep in mind that Squids are available to produce instantly when Naval Yard has been built, while Typhoons need a Communication Center to be produced. You might need an Ore Refinery with few War Miners to gather the gems nearby as fast as possible to fund your war efforts for the next couple of minutes. When you have the access to all needed units to win this mission, send few troopers to occupy the Lighthouse to the east where the Allies are going to land soon. Same goes to the Terror Drones from the War Factory, few of them are enough to cripple any paratroopers together with the tanks and MCV that is going to land. Typhoons together with the Squids might try to intercept the attacking Assault Destroyers and most importantly, Amphibious Transports that want to land. As you will see, in a lot of instances you are going to most likely finish this mission with no Allied base to destroy, as I Terror Drone'd the Allied MCV, lol.
