C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 - Soviet Mission 7, Chrono Defense [Red Alert 2]
36C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 for C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge is a mod that was released in April 1st of 2018 by Omegabolt. Soviet Mission 7, Chrono Defense from the original Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 single player campaign with some additional features listed in the modification's website. The modification uses Yuri's Revenge as its base for the rules.
Yuri's Revenge is an expansion pack for C&C Red Alert 2, released in the October 2001. It contains 7 missions for both Soviets and the Allies, it's focused around time travelling back in time to stop Yuri's secret plan of dominating the world by activating secretly constructed Psychic Dominator devices during the war. Missions are way harder than these in vanilla Red Alert 2 campaign but are still much easier than those in C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 3.3 or C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 2.0. There was also planned a campaign for Yuri but it was scrapped due to the time constraints.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
The Allied Forces in Europe make their one of the last desperate efforts to cripple the Soviets by teleporting their troops to the Ural Mountains Laboratory. This place is known for the development of the new Soviet war machine called the Apocalypse Tank, that in the Red Resurrection can fire on the move without issues. Your main objective is to hold the Battle Lab during the course of the mission and repel all of the Allied Chronosphere taskforces, including paratroopers and aircrafts. The mission is pretty easy but quite long because you have lots of the time to prepare yourself against the incoming Allied forces, so much you can build tons of units. Or you can simply gather all ore on the map what I did during the mission with producing tons of War Miners that are a nice addition because they are good anti-infantry unit. When the mission starts you might send some infantry units to the village located west because there is an annoying Propaganda Truck that when destroyed, has a map reveal crate. To the east of your base there is a Tech Service Depot together with three Oil Derricks, the Service Depot gives to you a control of few free Tesla Troopers to defend yourself. To the south there is an empty outpost with some Army Tents, destroy them to get a nice cash bonus from the crates that will surely help your effort during this 20 minutes long mission. You might also get some Attack Dogs that will sniff out the incoming Allied Spies, the Spies won't be a problem during this mission at all but it's a good thing to have power online all the time. The Allied attacks are quite clumsy and stupid as Admiral's Ozzel skills, they are disorganised and decide to teleport their troops just nearby your defenses just nearby the base with Battle Lab. You need to train some anti-air units like Flak Troopers, Rykovs and normal Flak Cannons because of the Rocketeers and Allied Aircrafts that are surely going to target the Battle Lab as soon as possible.
